We're hiring: an Operations Assistant for Glaser Holiday Rentals

Glaser Holiday Rentals is growing, and we’re looking for an Operations Assistant to join our team in Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmádena. It’s a permanent position, and we’d like someone to start as soon as possible.

The work behind a good stay

When a stay goes well, guests rarely see what made it happen. The cleaning was booked and checked. A small repair was dealt with before they arrived. The keys, the welcome and the information about the home were all ready. Behind the scenes, the paperwork for each property is complete and up to date.

For owners, that work is what they rely on when they trust us with their home. For guests, it’s the difference between a relaxed holiday and a frustrating one. Getting it right every day takes planning, follow-up and someone who notices problems before they grow.

That’s what our Operations Assistant will help us do.

What the role involves

The role is mainly office-based, around 70–80% of the time. From our office you’ll organise the day-to-day: guest arrivals, property inspections, cleaning schedules and maintenance visits. You’ll coordinate our cleaners, technicians and suppliers, and follow up until the work is done as agreed.

You’ll also onboard new properties as they join us. That means inspections, inventories, photographs, documentation and setting each home up in our systems. And you’ll help keep the paperwork for our properties in order, including what holiday rentals in Andalusia need to stay compliant, such as the VUT registration (the regional licence for holiday rental homes).

It’s a client-facing role too. You’ll welcome guests on arrival, and when something comes up during their stay, you’ll often be the person who solves it, calmly and quickly, on site if needed.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with at least a year of experience at a holiday rental management company on the Costa del Sol. You know how the work flows in a busy week, and what happens when a cleaner is late or a guest arrives early.

You already live on the Costa del Sol, you speak English and Spanish, and you have a driving licence. Above all, you’re organised and proactive. You plan ahead, keep track of open tasks, and act when you see a problem coming instead of waiting to be asked. With guests, you’re friendly and patient, also when something has gone wrong.

What we offer

We offer a permanent contract (contrato indefinido) of 30–40 hours per week, normally Monday to Friday. Working hours can vary with the needs of the business, and we sometimes ask for flexibility. You’ll have a company car for work and all the equipment you need.

You’ll join a small team, where your work makes a visible difference to owners, guests and colleagues.
